World Heart Day, 29 September Dr Rishi Sethi Senior Cardiologist This year’s World Heart Day (29 September) theme focusses on a life-course approach to the prevention and control of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) with a focus on women and children. More than 80% of these preventable deaths in the future will be among people living in low-and middle-income countries.
