Preventing TB among people living with HIV is a standard of care

This Podcast features a conversation with Esnath Manhiri of Zimbabwe national network of people living with HIV. She calls for all people living with HIV to have access to TB Preventive Treatment (TPT). Treating latent TB is a standard of care. She was in conversation with CNS on sidelines of TB HIV Symposium (organized by Stop TB Partnership) at 10th IAS Conference on HIV Science (IAS 2019) in Mexico.

It is noteworthy to mention that our governments have promised at UN High Level Meeting (UNHLM) to end TB in September 2018 to provide TB Preventive Treatment to 30 million people by 2022, among which are 6 million people living with HIV.
